In collaboration with Anja Heymann, I am exploring the possibility of transforming my presence into an object.

The resulting plaster casts act as ghostly presences evoking bygone scenes. These contain pictorial elements and seemingly cinematic sequences. Blurred moments are retrieved and merge into each other. Reminiscences from sequential longterm memory, episodic memory. They are waiting for their reactivation in compressed form. With some, this appears to be possible in almost photographic sharpness, but often it remains vague.
