The impression of late morning light illuminating the cobwebs inside an old radiator sparked my interest in spiders. Using mostly found materials, I mimic their intricate weaving, creating installations which raise questions about visibility, space and attention. The hour-long process of knotting the delicate strings and weaving them into a net highlightens the fragility and appeal of the used materials.
While the resulting structure might seem natural at first sight, the spectator's gaze unfolds its artificiality at closer examination.
